[ Aerith hesitates for a moment before she tilts and leans herself closer to him, basking in their closeness. She had been so afraid for a moment that he might slip from her fingers, that she might have done something to break the bond between them completely. Hesitating, she breathes out.

What if there's just not a lot there to know? [Shifts his shoulder a little to make it more comfortable for her to lean against him, squeezing her hand.] Maybe there's just not a lot to me if I don't have some...big dumb cause or some grudge or some other personality to wear. I don't wanna hog all your time if I'm just gonna piss and moan, or not have anything to say anyhow.
I still want to know everything. [ Aerith sighs softly. ] I think there's more to you than you think. You don't... I don't think you always see the best in yourself, Cloud, and that's okay, because I can see all the things you don't. [ She squeezes his hand back gently. ] I don't want you to hide from me or not spend time with me because you think I'll get bored.
I wasn't hiding, [Cloud mumbles, embarrassed, but at least he's stroking the side of her hand with his thumb instead of just sitting there stiffly with her tucked against his side.] Just wasn't...being selfish enough, I guess. You were happy going to see Zack, and I know Zack was happy to have you, and he's probably better at, y'know. [Smashin.'] ...blowing your back out, or whatever it is y'all do.
You can be selfish with me. That's okay. [ A part of her wants him to be. It feels nice, to know that he wants to spend time with her, that he wants to be with her. The rest of it, though, has her blushing, and she ducks her head just a little. ] We're only getting good because we practice, you know.
I'm not jealous that you guys are having sex, that's very honestly not a problem for me. [Kind of nice to think about, sometimes- who said that] ...but I wouldn't...y'know, say no to. Trying out more stuff with you. -If you feel like downgrading. [Is that a joke? It's probably a joke. Is it?]
It won't be a downgrade. [ She nudges him gently, lifting herself up so that she can leave a kiss against his cheek. ] I want to try more with you, too.
