Either way he's going to bring the shuttle around and lead it to one of the back docking areas on the waystation. At least there's enough space here for him to turn the shuttle around, nose-out for a speedy getaway.]

oh well, maybe he can use this time to relax a bit. Zack leans back in his chair, hands behind his head, and rests quietly for the first little bit of the flight, eyes closed. he's still restless, though, and whatever's bothering him still lingers, so before long he shifts again, twisting around to sit backwards on his chair, chin on the headrest.]

[Look...don't ask him why that was suddenly a big deal. He doesn't understand it himself, okay]

Scrap metal. Food or whatever too I guess; water, stuff for in case these assholes suddenly decide not to feed us for kicks. But metal for bigger and better swords, mostly.

That would be amazing. Nothing against the ones we have, they actually look super cool, just... I haven't used a sword that small since my training days.

Man, tell me about it. I'm afraid to swing this thing around, I feel like it's gonna fly out of my hands. [HOW DOES HE EVEN USE IT??? you can't bludgeon someone to death with this thing]

Takes practice, switching from one to the other. It took me a few months to really get the hang of the Buster- every move feels different, even if it's the exact same one you're used to.

It's too bad there's nowhere decent on the ships to practice with a sword. Even the gym is too small for really cutting loose... [....and abandoned waystation, though,]

We could probably break a few walls down on the Iskaulit, make a bigger space for it. It's got tons of empty rooms. Hmm...

[Taps his fingers on the controls.] I mean, it's abandoned, right? Whoever owned it is probably expecting it to get trashed.

Oh wow, look at that, we are. [HOPPING OUT OF THE SHUTTLE~

It's been a while since he's had a good fight that wasn't for the sake of saving the world! Even the battle arena with all of its handicaps hadn't proven to be much of a challenge toward the end of things.] Let's hurry up then, grab as much scrap metal and supplies as you can find. Whatever we can fit in the shuttle.

Sounds like a plan. Wanna meet up here later or stick together?

[YEAH HE DON'T WANNA EITHER, kinda regrets the words even as they leave his mouth, so he's honestly a little relieved when Cloud backs them up again. the whole point of dragging Cloud out of bed was so he wouldn't be miserably alone with his thoughts.]

No, sir. Okay, I'm thinkin'... north? I see some shiny-looking shops over there. Might be an electronics sector. Good for spare parts.

Zack obliges with a grin, marching along in step with Cloud and poking around the various shops and venues. he's not much of an engineer overall, augment or not, but certain instruments and gadgets still ping him enough to want the parts, so it doesn't take long for them to find gear that might be usable. truth be told his favourite bit is this dorky little metal cart that could be a wagon if you squint, good for transporting the stuff back to the shuttle.]

Think we could fit this guy into the ship with the rest? I might be getting attached.

In the ship? Fair, if you think this thing ain't gettin' strapped to the top, you got another thing coming. [IT'S NOT THE FAMILY DOG.

.......please note that Cloud is going to do everything in his power to bring this little wagon back though. Zack dragging it around is hilarious and cute as fuck.]

[Zack drags the cart closer, using his boot to help kick loose the rest of the glass so they can pull out the contents.]

...Hey, think if we tethered it to the shuttle and put a spacesuit on it'd be sort of like space-skiing?

Hmmm... [Opens a foil packet of some kinda thing and pops a cube into his mouth. -oh hey, it's good. Tastes like fruit jerky.

He holds the packet open out for Zack.] I dunno. There's no friction, so you couldn't steer it unless you stuck like rockets or something onto it. It'd be more like just getting yanked around.

[Zack accepts, stuffing like three in his mouth before passing it back. Tasty. Probably super unhealthy - that's what vending machines are for - but it fills the belly.]

That could still be fun. The lack of control is what makes that sort of thing fun.

You wanna try it, I'm game. I like having something I can steer. [Aerith is going to Kill them] We'd have to find a way to make sure you stay on the wagon, too. So you don't go flying off into space.

Eh, yeah, a couple of straps and a handle, maybe. That'll work.
